91st Annual AMS Meeting, Seattle, WA - AWCIA Reception

Dear Members of America's Weather Enterprise;

As we approach the dates for our 91st Annual AMS Meeting in Seattle, I wanted to reach out to you one more time with important scheduling information.  This year, identical to last year in Atlanta, our reception will be co-sponsored with NCIM, the National Council of Industrial Meteorologists, and is scheduled as follows:

• When: Sunday Evening, January 23, 2011 6PM - 9PM
  
• Where: Sheraton Hotel, Grand B Ballroom, 2nd Floor

I am delighted to inform you that Jack Hayes, who usually attends our reception, will be speaking, informally, sharing a few thoughts about how operations of NOAA’s NWS, in a period of increasingly challenging budgets, could play out. This year, more than any prior year, we wish to celebrate our successful efforts in building a strong, healthy and capable American Weather Enterprise. This reception will be a great opportunity to visit with old friends.
